Amanda Holden addresses rumours of replacing Cat Deeley on This Morning
This morning on Heart Breakfast, Amanda Holden addressed the rumours that she is set to take over from Cat Dealey on ITV’s This Morning.
It was showbiz reporter Ashley Roberts who brought up the subject during the show by asking Amanda if it was true?
“Oh, well, do you know what? I’m really glad you’ve asked me this,” Amanda replied. “First of all, I absolutely love Cat Deeley. She’s super successful, I’ve always admired her, she’s brilliant, and she’s a real laugh.
“I hate seeing headlines that say, ‘I’m taking over from Cat Deeley’ when I think she’s doing such a good job on This Morning,” she added.
Then, directly answering the question, Amanda said: “I’m sure she’s going absolutely nowhere, it is categorically 100% made up by a journalist.”
To make it absolutely clear, Amanda continued: “Complete rumours! I’m already on the biggest morning show in the country, and that is Heart Breakfast, thanks to our lovely listeners. So, I don’t know where it’s come from it is categorically not true.
“It’s really annoying me. So, bog off putting two women against each other I hate that.”
Sounds like a “no” then!!
