Radio 1 Breakfast Show? “One day,” says Jordan North

Although not right now, Jordan North says he  would like to host BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show one day.

Since September 2021, North has presented the Drivetime Show with Vick Hope, following stints on weekend shows on the station.

Speaking to The Sun, he says radio is the best job in the world and it’s a privilege to be doing it. He gets on well with his co-host Vick, and says there isn’t a day when they don’t have a laugh on air.

Jordan told the newspaper that he as a plan for his career and would like to host Radio 1 Breakfast.

“Not right now as Greg is my best mate and he is absolutely smashing it, but I do want to do breakfast one day, he says. “It’s always going to be in the back of your mind that one day you are going to have to leave, that you won’t be in the job for ever.”

He added that he’s very happy with what he’s currently doing and things are going well, so hopefully that’s enough for his bosses to keep him a bit longer!
