BFBS opens new studio complex in Germany
A new studio complex for BFBS Germany has been officially opened in Sennelager.
Two radio studios, an editing suite, plus engineering and office spaces make up the new media centre.
Stuart Holmes, General Manager BFBS Germany, said: “After over a year of design, planning and construction, it’s fantastic to finally have all of the BFBS team together at the heart of the BFG community.
“These facilities will ensure that we continue to provide local broadcast services to support the Forces and their families that are based out here.”
Haig School children’s choir performed live as Colonel Nick Channer, Deputy Chief of Staff for Headquarters BFG, cut the ribbon. He said: “It looks absolutely fantastic and is just what we need. It’s a smart, high-tech and modern facility that sends a message of investment in our community.”
