Gemma Atkinson shuts down pregnancy rumours during Hits Radio show
Gemma Atkinson has firmly denied rumours she is expecting her third child.
Speaking on Hits Radio alongside co-host Mike Toolan, the presenter addressed speculation circulating online and among listeners.
The conversation began when Toolan jokingly admitted disappointment that she had not personally shared the supposed news with him first.
Gemma quickly dismissed the claims, explaining that the rumours were completely untrue and had surprised her as much as listeners.
She told Toolan she would be feeling overwhelmed rather than excited if the reports were accurate, given her already busy family life.
She said: “I’d love to say, in fact I wouldn’t love to say I was pregnant as I’d be in a massive panic. Imagine a six-year-old, a two-year-old, a puppy and a pregnancy. It’s not true, can you imagine.”
The broadcaster explained she had repeatedly received messages asking about the speculation and felt it was important to address the situation publicly.
She reassured listeners that there was no truth behind the rumours and insisted she wanted to be completely clear.
Gemma added: “I keep seeing this and people keep messaging me but I’m not with child. I can hand on heart say I’m not with child.”
Gemma has often spoken openly about family life and balancing her broadcasting career with parenting responsibilities. She shares two children with her partner, Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Gorka Márquez, and frequently discusses their home life with audiences across radio and social media.
