Busted, Tinie Tempah and Pixie Lott announced for Radio 1 Anthems Live

BBC Radio 1 has announced its first-ever Radio 1 Anthems Live taking place in Bradford.
The event, on 15 November at the new Bradford Live venue as part of the 2025 UK City of Culture celebrations, will see pop favourites Busted, rapper Tinie Tempah and singer Pixie Lott perform live.
There will also be special DJ sets from Radio 1 DJs Charlie Hedges and Dean McCullough, who will also host the show alongside Lauren Redfern.
Busted said they are thrilled to be part of the very first Anthems Live, promising fans a night packed with their greatest hits including Year 3000 and Crashed The Wedding. “It’s gonna be mega. Can’t wait to see you there,” they said. Tinie Tempah added: “Expect bangers upon bangers classic and new!”
The live event marks the latest evolution of the Anthems brand, following the launch of Radio 1 Anthems on DAB+ earlier this month. The strand has become one of Radio 1’s most popular offerings, giving younger audiences the chance to enjoy and rediscover music from the 2000s and 2010s.
Aled Haydn Jones, Head of Radio 1, said: “I’m delighted that we’ll be bringing the very first Anthems Live to Bradford this November as part of the 2025 UK City of Culture celebrations.
“Radio 1 Anthems is hugely popular amongst our listeners, and it’s fantastic to bring it to life on stage with these iconic artists.”
Shanaz Gulzar, Creative Director of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture, said: “Our BBC partnership goes from strength to strength with the announcement of BBC Radio 1 Anthems Live coming to Bradford.
“Come along for an unforgettable night of pure unadulterated fun, joy and music with your favourite artists.”
Tickets are available now via bbc.co.uk/anthemslive, with performances also set to be broadcast on Radio 1 Anthems on 19 November at 5pm, with highlights throughout the day on Radio 1.
