Graham Norton is quitting his Virgin Radio weekend shows
Graham Norton is standing down from his weekend shows on Virgin Radio with his last programmes this weekend.
The news was confirmed by Norton when he started his show this morning saying: “It is my final weekend of shows here at Virgin Radio.”
He joined the station in 2021 following 10 years presenting a Saturday morning show on BBC Radio 2.
The speculation has already started that he may be headed back to Radio 2 as a replacement on Sunday Love Songs, although Graham has said that he’s not leaving Virgin Radio completely but won’t doing weekends.
Co-host Maria McErlane has been talking with Graham on the show this morning about the news and it’s not certain if it will affect her.
Angela Scanlon will host the shows for the next few weeks before a new replacement is announced.
