Chris Moyles gags and splutters through cheese tasting challenge

Chris Moyles visibly gagged and spluttered as he tried a selection of cheeses as part of a competition on his Radio X Breakfast Show.

The selection included a strong blue cheese, with his reaction sending his co-hosts Dominic Byrne, Pippa Taylor and James Robinson into fits of laughter!

When the three cheeses were presented to Chris, he said he doesn’t like any of them.

“Well, I’ve never eaten any of them, I probably won’t like them, he said. “One of them is stinky blue, smelly, blue cheese; stinky cheese with blue and smelly.”

Chris then went on to say to his co-hosts: “Then you’ve got to work out of the one, two or three which one is the horrible, stinky, smelly blue cheese. What have I got to say?”

Dominic answered that it was up to Chris what he said, and Pippa suggested: “What a lovely bit of blue.”

Chris responded: “I’m not saying that. Pervert!”

They decided on “Yummy yummy, I love cheese,” with Dominic asking if Chris was ready.

“No. I hate cheese. Ooh! Urgh! They’re huge! Look at the size of them. I thought there’d be two tiny bits like you get offered for free at the supermarket,” he replied.

The challenge then began with Chris struggling to eat each piece of cheese. Gagging, spluttering and occasionally managing to say “yummy yummy I love cheese”, Chris managed to get through the task – just about!

“Oh well done. Well done,” Dominic congratulated Chris. “You are a hell of an actor. Because it sounded as though you didn’t like cheese, but obviously you love it really. How are you feeling?”

With no hesitation, Chris responded: “People who like cheese are weird! I’m sorry, they’re weird.”
