“In rehearsal we replace Golden with Amanda Holden” Harry Styles tells Heart Breakfast
Harry Styles was doing the rounds appearing on various radio stations yesterday, when he said something that surprised Amanda Holden on Heart Breakfast.
The singer was making the appearances to talk about his new album, Harry’s House, which is due for release on 20 May and to promote his new single As it Was, released on Friday.
During the discussion with Amanda and Jamie Theakston, Harry told them: “I just want to let you know, there’s a song on my last album called Golden and whenever we sing it in rehearsal, we replace Golden with Amanda Holden!”
Completely surprised, Amanda responded: “Oh my god, can we make sure we edit that up please,” and Jamie asked if they could hear it. “I’ll get you a copy,” Harry promised!

On Capital Breakfast, Roman Kemp asked if it would be safe to watch Harry’s new films My Policeman and Don’t Worry, Darling with his mum.
“I don’t know if you can watch either with your parents,” Harry replied. Then Roman asked if it’s true that during simulated sex scenes a netball is used?
“I personally have no experience with a netball,” Harry explained, “I think it very much depends on who you’re working with.”

On BBC Radio 2, Zoe Ball wanted to know if there was an egg in the upside-down picture from the new album cover – he confirmed it is – a sunny side up egg! Zoe asked how he liked his eggs? “I get versatile with an egg,” he quipped.

On Radio 1 Breakfast, Greg James played Harry a TikTok video of a fan, Eda who was on a scooter and had met him while he was running.
Greg happened to have Eda on the line who offered to give him a lift next time he was out running! Harry said that he would take a lift if he was at the end of a run, but if he’s at the start, he’d probably power on a little longer. Greg joked: “Maybe if you’re at the foot of a hill, that would be a good thing!”
