George Ezra, Griff, Dermot Kennedy, Jax Jones and more added to Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2022
George Ezra, Griff, Lorde, Dermot Kennedy, Charli XCX and Jax Jones are some of the names joining the already announced line-up for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2022 in Coventry.
The station’s flagship live music event will host over 80,000 Radio 1 fans between 27-29 May with the acts announced today, set to perform with Ed Sheeran, Anne-Marie, Calvin Harris, Sigrid and KSI amongst some of the acts already announced on Monday.

This year, the festival returns to the field for the first time in two years and will be part of the BBC’s Centenary celebrations.
BBC Radio 1 will broadcast live from the festival site across the weekend, with performances and tracks available live and on demand across Radio 1’s iPlayer channel and BBC Sounds.
Acts joining the bill and performing on Radio 1’s Dance Stage on Friday 27 May will be announced during Radio 1’s Dance Party with Danny Howard (6pm-8pm) this Friday, 18 March.
