Beaumont and Botham return to BBC 5 Live’s A Question of Sport

Two of A Question of Sport’s most popular former captains, Sir Bill Beaumont and Sir Ian Botham, will be guests on 5 Live Sport’s A Question of Sport: The Podcast this Saturday.

For the first time since 1996, Beaumont and Botham will both feature on A Question of Sport and will be joining current captains Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell to test their sporting knowledge. Hosted by 5 Live’s Steve Crossman, former England rugby union players Beaumont and Dawson will join forces to take on former England cricket players Botham and Tuffnell.

Between 1989 and 1996, Beaumont and Botham led their teams each week under the watchful eye of presenter David Coleman as they tackled the picture board, figured out who the mystery guest was and made the big decision to go home or away.
