Josh Widdicombe sparks new Dan Morrissey Magic Christmas Breakfast show
Josh Widdicombe says there is such a thing as too much power.
He made the point on the Parenting Hell podcast after learning that he is responsible for the new Magic Christmas Breakfast show from Magic Radio’s sister station.
The reveal happened while he and Rob Beckett were talking about his long-held frustration that the station did not have a Breakfast show. He’s a fan of the station and explained on the podcast that he wanted something new to listen to in the mornings.
He then shared a reel on Instagram today showing his reaction to the news and telling followers how his comments had influenced what happened next.
The team at Magic Radio heard the discussion and moved quickly. They created a brand-new Breakfast show for Magic Christmas and launched it this week with Magic Radio presenter Dan Morrissey.
Dan revealed the update on Magic Radio’s Instagram stories with a message aimed at Josh and Rob. He said he would be on air every morning between seven and ten with a mix of Christmas favourites and confirmed it all started because of their conversation on Parenting Hell.
He joked that the pair first asked for presenters on Magic Christmas and then asked for a Breakfast show, so the station delivered both. He warned them to be careful what they wish for!
Magic Christmas is available on DAB, on the Rayo app, or through any smart speaker by asking it to play the station.
