William Hanson jokes about personal trainer and Adele on Radio X

William Hanson joined The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X this morning, where the etiquette expert and podcaster shared two tongue-in-cheek stories that had the studio laughing.

Hanson revealed he had recently stopped training with his former personal trainer, nicknamed Pump-it-up Pete, after discovering he was a Flat Earther and climate change denier.

He explained that during a leg press session, Pete suddenly asked his views on climate change and challenged his belief in it, prompting Hanson to part ways. “No, not for me,” he said, joking that he has now moved on to a new trainer, Jack-it-up Joel.

The conversation then turned to the success of Help I Sexted My Boss, the comedy podcast Hanson co-hosts with Capital Breakfast’s Jordan North.

The pair have announced a UK arena tour for March 2026, with tickets selling rapidly. Looking back on their very first live show in a Camden pub six years ago, Hanson recalled how they sold 40 tickets in four and a half minutes.

He and North jokingly compared their achievement to Adele, whose arena tour at the time sold out in five minutes. “With no sense of irony, Jordan thought we had beaten Adele,” Hanson told Moyles.

Help I Sexted My Boss has grown from pub shows to arenas, with the upcoming 2026 tour marking its biggest live run to date.
