Olly Murs tells Hit Radio why he’s not wearing his wedding ring
Olly Murs joined his fellow X Factor alumni, Fleur East on Hits Radio Breakfast on Friday morning.
The Dance With Me Tonight singer appeared alongside Fleur’s co-hosts Will Best and James Barr for the show’s regular morning quiz, Useless, and shared a very personal update.
When asked what he was most useless at right now, Olly revealed he had misplaced his wedding ring.
He told listeners: “I’ve had a real nightmare this morning, I can’t find it, I think I went to the gym and left it so I’ve misplaced it.
“The thing is the missus is great – she doesn’t actually bother if I don’t have it on but she just likes to remind me ‘oh you haven’t got it on!’ But at the moment, as we sit here now, I have no idea where it is and that’s a bit of a worrying thing.”
Fleur, who is mum to sixteen-month-old Nova, then asked how he felt about becoming a dad for the second time.
Olly responded: “I am really calm about it all. Amelia is in absolute meltdown at the moment! It is a bit mental, but I’ll just deal with it when it comes… Being a dad, being a husband is everything.”
Olly married Amelia Tank last year and they welcomed their first child, son Elvis, in April this year.
The singer is enjoying time off with his family this summer before he returns to live shows later this year.
