Chris Moyles broadcasts Radio X show live from Oasis garden girl’s home

Chris Moyles his Breakfast Show live from the home of viral Oasis ‘garden girl’ Liv Bridge this morning, after travelling up to Manchester for the band’s latest Heaton Park gig.
The Radio X team, including Toby Tarrant, made the journey from London yesterday to watch Oasis perform another homecoming show.
This morning, they set up their broadcast in Liv’s kitchen – the same Liv who went viral last year after offering up her back garden as a campsite in exchange for a ticket to the reunion gigs.
On air, Chris Moyles told listeners: “We’re doing it from Liv’s kitchen. If you’ve been listening to us, you would have heard us talking about Liv. So, we’ve taken over her house!
“We’re in her huge kitchen – thank goodness she’s got a huge kitchen. I say that sarcastically, because when you put a radio station inside a kitchen, there’s not much room left!”
Thirty-year-old superfan Liv posted on social media offering her garden, just down the road from Heaton Park, as a free campsite for anyone able to get her a ticket to the sold-out shows.
She received hundreds of messages and revealed this morning that her first campers, two lads from Newcastle, would be pitching up tonight and they have kept their promise by sorting her out with a ticket.
Speaking about her unexpected viral fame, Liv said: “The whole thing is just surreal. I still feel like I am asleep and that I’m dreaming, it’s just next level this! I mean, how many listeners houses have you been to, to do a show before?”
In addition to hosting the team this morning, Liv also presented her own one-off show on Radio X Oasis – the pop-up station dedicated entirely to the band.
In her special, she counted down the top 10 tracks she believes Oasis should have played during their homecoming run, including ‘All Around the World’ and ‘Columbia.’
“I’ve just had Chris Moyles round at my house doing a show from my garden, and he’s just left a microphone. So now I’m going to do the Radio X Oasis top 10!” Liv said. “I went with Chris Moyles and the Radio X guys to go see Oasis last night, which was absolutely biblical! But there are 10 songs I think they should have played, if only they had another hour.”
During the breakfast show, Chris also revealed some of the famous faces he spotted at last night’s gig, including Manchester City and England star Jack Grealish, Joe from Blossoms, and Noel Gallagher’s daughter, who stopped by to say hello.
Tune into The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X weekdays from 6:30am – 10am and on Global Player.
