Alesha Dixon teases possible Mis-Teeq reunion on Hits Radio Breakfast

Alesha Dixon has reignited hopes for a Mis-Teeq reunion after dropping a major hint during an appearance on the Hits Radio Breakfast Show this morning.
Chatting with hosts Fleur East, Will Best and James Barr, Alesha was asked directly if fans might see the iconic girl group back together soon. Her response has set social media alight.
“There might be,” Alesha teased. “Well, next year is the twenty-fifth anniversary of Lickin’ on Both Sides, our debut album. We’re thinking. We’re thinking!”
She quickly added a note of caution, saying: “Thinking doesn’t mean we’re doing – but we’re thinking, which is more than we’ve done.”
The playful answer was enough to send Mis-Teeq fans into overdrive, with many calling for a full comeback and tour.
The early 2000s R&B and UK garage trio, featuring Alesha Dixon, Su-Elise Nash and Sabrina Washington, carved out a place in British pop history with anthems like Scandalous, All I Want and One Night Stand.
Their debut album Lickin’ on Both Sides was released in 2001, blending garage beats and slick vocals that captured a moment in UK music and helped define the sound of the era.
Although no official plans have been confirmed yet, Alesha’s comments mark the clearest sign in years that the door is open for a reunion. The group last performed together in 2005 before members pursued solo projects and television careers.
Fans now have fresh reason to hope that next year’s milestone anniversary could bring the trio back together – and maybe even new music or a special tour to celebrate.
For now, it seems Alesha and her bandmates are happy to keep everyone guessing – but after nearly twenty-five years, even the possibility of hearing Scandalous live again is enough to have UK pop lovers ready and waiting.
