Miley Cyrus rolls on dirty Hollywood street for new music video

Miley Cyrus has revealed the not-so-glamorous reality behind one of the most eye-catching moments from her new album Something Beautiful, which just been released.
Speaking to Capital’s Jimmy Hill, Miley shared how she ended up rolling around on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the middle of the night, without any help from a cleaning crew.
“They did not [clean it],” she said. “I had to keep wiping my hands clean, because every time I would go like this, you’d see they were completely covered in… I don’t even know what. Don’t think about it.”
The video for track nine, Walk of Fame, was shot at 3am to match the song’s theme about the struggle to stay anonymous. “We had to shoot it on the fly,” Miley explained. “I said, how could I ever walk down that street with music blaring, wearing what I’m wearing, in the middle of the day? So we waited until the street was quiet.”
Miley laughed recalling how passers-by reacted: “There were people driving by, looking out their windows like, ‘Am I seeing what I think I’m seeing?’ I’m just happy there were no crashes!”
After the shoot, her executive producer gave her a brutally honest review: “He goes, ‘Wow, you were really going for it. That’s kind of gross.’ And he’s not someone who says things are gross unless they really are.”
Away from the grit, Miley still finds joy in the magic of hearing her music on air. “It’s the best part,” she said. “The radio is spontaneous. You never know when it’s going to happen, and I still get that buzz when one of my songs comes on.”
