Sam Thompson lands brand-new Saturday show on Hits Radio

Sam Thompson is to host a new Saturday morning show on Hits Radio from this weekend.

The former I’m A Celebrity winner, who also presents the Sunday afternoon Hits UK Chart show on the station, will now also host Saturday mornings from 9am.

Current host in the Saturday morning slot, weekday Breakfast presenter Fleur East, will move to a new Sunday morning show along with her new Breakfast show co-host Will Best and James Barr from 4th May.

Sam said: “Come on!!!! It’s Saturday mornings baby…. I have LOVED my evenings with my Hits Radio fam but I am such a morning person that the chance to spend the start of the weekend with listeners was too good to miss. See you all Saturday!!”

Sam joined Hits Radio in 2022 and presented the Monday to Thursday evening show from January 2023 until March this year. He has also been presenting the Sunday chart show since May 2023.
