“I can’t get all the songs in,” says Kylie speaking on Radio 2
Kylie Minogue was one of Friends Around Friday along with David Mitchell and Joe Lycett on Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show earlier.
She spoke of her love of music and the dilemma she’s had for her upcoming tour that she announced just over a week ago.
Responding to the suggestion people are saying she is making the best music of her career at the moment; Kylie revealed her love for it and performing.
“It does feel good, I love music more, my appreciation and all the nuance and everything that goes into it I just love it. I love making it, I love performing it and connecting with people is the ultimate, so…”
As for her Tension 25 tour in the UK, which starts from Glasgow before heading to Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, London, Nottingham and Birmingham, Kylie says she’ll get more songs in than you’d think.
“I feel there’s room in the show to take people on a bit of a trip… there will be a megamix, there has to be because – and I can’t believe I get to say this – but I can’t get all the songs in, so we do… it’s wild to me,” she revealed.
Later on in Zoe’s show, Joe Lycett unveiled the portraits of Kylie and David Mitchell he’d drawn of them during the programme – you can see them below!
