Fleur East announces return date to Hits Radio Breakfast Show

Appearing as a guest on the Hits Radio Breakfast Show this morning, Fleur East shared the news that she was returning the station.

Fleur has been on maternity leave since February and Angellica Bell has been covering for her.

Having spent some time with baby Nova, Fleur told Angellica and James Barr that she would be back behind the microphone from Monday 9 September.

Little Nova joined mum in the studio as Fleur said: “I have missed you guys, but I have NOT missed the 4am alarm”

“I’ve always wanted to know what’s harder having a newborn or doing a breakfast show. And it’s definitely having a breakfast show!

“I’m excited to come back it’s nice being back in here, it’s surreal now that I’m a Mum it’s so weird, but I’m excited. There’s a lot of chat that I’ve got now, there’s a lot more things to discuss. We’ll have a little creche in the corner, yes?”
