The Kim Wilde 80s show to be broadcast on Virgin Radio 80s Plus

Virgin Radio UK 80s Plus is to broadcast The Kim Wilde 80s Show every Sunday at 10am-2pm.

Kim enjoyed huge success as a recording artist in the 80s with her debut single, Kids in America reaching number two on the UK chart in 1981.This was followed by a string of hits and a BRIT Award for Best British Female solo artist in 1983.

In her show, Kim plays her favourite songs from the 80s and includes her own stories from the decade.

Kim says: “I’m thrilled to be at Virgin Radio for my own show on Virgin Radio 80s Plus. It’s such an exciting station and I love that I can play the music I adore from my favourite decade! I’ll be here every Sunday playing not only the hits of the 80s, but also some curveballs that you might not expect. It’s going to be a lot of fun!”
