Rochelle Humes jokes about husband Marvin’s I’m a Celebrity expressions

Last night Rochelle Humes joined The Heart Evening Show with Dev Griffin to talk about her husband Marvin appearing in I’m a Celebrity.

Marvin has surprised Rochelle with his facial expressions, she told Dev: “When I watched him…I was like “oh my gosh he looks like he’s going to throw up” like it was a hard watch.

“Like genuinely, we’ve been together over 14 years, and I’ve never seen him pull faces that he’s done, I was like, I don’t even know these expressions, I’ve never seen them before. He was terrified!”

Rochelle also revealed the conversation she had with Marvin when he was asked to go into the jungle. She’s Marvin’s manager, so the email went to her, and she thought it might be a bit tight because he was about to finish the JLS tour.

“He finished in Sheffield on the Saturday, he got home at 3am Saturday morning, had the whole day Sunday and flew Monday,” She explained to Dev. “And it was all very tight. I didn’t think it would work, but I came in and I didn’t think it would be something he would want to do.

“He’s always said how much he likes it, we’ve watched it every year, but it’s the first year he’s been asked to do it, so I was kind of like I don’t know what he’s going to say.”

She told him the programme makers wanted him to be in it and would like to meet up. She was surprised when he said that it’s the one he’s been waiting for.

Dev asked if she’d given Marvin any advice and she replied: “No I never jumped out of a plane and have never eaten kangaroo anus, so I had nothing to offer him apart from all the best!”
