Leigh-Anne Pinnock teases a Little Mix reunion on Heart Breakfast
As she launches her solo career, Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock joined Heart Breakfast with Jamie and Amanda this morning.
Leigh-Anne’s new song Don’t Say Love is now available now, but it seems that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of Little Mix.
Amanda pointed out that Leigh-Anne is the first one from the band to release solo music, and asked if she’s feeling nervous about it and does it feel weird not having them around her?
“I literally keep saying that I’ve been punked or something… like they’re just gonna pop out from somewhere, they’re just gonna join me,” Leigh-Anne responded. “It’s bizarre but I genuinely feel like it’s the right time. We’ve been together for twelve years and I really feel it was time for us to spread our wings,” she added.
The idea of a reunion for the band arose when Amanda joked that most iconic bands all go away, produce their own music then there’s an amazing tour about five years later when they all get back together again.
That’s when Leigh-Anne admitted it could happen: “We’re so tight, they are my girls and they’re always gonna to be my sisters, so of course we’re gonna do a reunion, how would we not,” she answered.
Not @LeighAnneMusic already teasing us with a @LittleMix reunion 😭😭😭
