Strictly’s Tyler West announces 24 Hour KISSTORY Rave for charity

KISS DJ and Strictly star Tyler West has revealed he’s taking part in a 24-hour charity challenge in aid of children’s charity Cash for Kids.

Next month, he will be dancing and DJing his way through a 24hr rave to raise funds for the charity.

Speaking to Jordan & Perri on their KISS Breakfast show this morning, Tyler said: “You boys are better dancers than me – although I’d say I’m more of a dancer now than I was a year ago after Strictly! –  but I’m here to announce something special.

“Do you think that I can dance and DJ for 24 hours straight? Well, that is exactly what is going down! I’m doing a 24-hour KISSTORY Rave all in aid of Cash for Kids.”

The challenge kicks off at 11am on Wednesday 26 April and Tyler will be joined by other DJs and special guests to help him through the fundraiser.

He told Jordan & Perri the fact that it’s for such a good cause is what’s going to keep him moving: “Cash for Kids helps families up and down the UK that are struggling – especially in the cost-of-living crisis at the moment.

“There’s 29% of children in the UK living in poverty right now – that’s 4.2million children that should not have to have that start in life. This is like our little step towards raising loads of money to help out families that really, really need it.”
