Former Blue Peter presenter Lindsey Russell’s new show on Heart

In a refresh of its schedule for the new year, Heart’s weekday early breakfast show will be hosted by Lindsey Russell.

Lindsey was a presenter on Blue Peter from 2013 until 2021 and last January joined Heart to host weekend shows. From today, she will host every Monday – Friday from 4am to 6.30am.

“I’m thrilled to be kicking off 2023 as the new host of early breakfast on Heart! I can’t wait to spend even more time with our amazing listeners each weekday morning,” says Lindsey.

The station has also hired Rob Howard as the new host of early breakfast on weekends from 6am to 9am.

Rob, who joins Heart from Capital, says: “I’m so excited to be joining the Heart family this year. I’ll be helping listeners kick-start their weekends in the best way by dialling up the feel-good and playing the most uplifting tunes!”
