Chris Moyles returns to Radio X after his stint in the jungle
Chris returned to his Breakfast Show this morning for the first time in six weeks after being on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
He was given the red carpet treatment by the team and they toasted him with champagne as he walked through the studio door.
They also gave him a spanner in honour of his Boiling Point Bushtucker Trial where he had to unscrew stars with spanners, but only managed to get one.
Fellow jungle campmates including Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott, Scarlette Douglas and Sue Cleaver all texted in to say they were listening as he made his return to the show.

Chris revealed a few things about his experience including the campmates’ confusion about Olivia Attwood’s whereabouts. He told his co-hosts: “We all felt so sorry for her because she got all the way to camp, found her hammock and went ‘right I’ll sleep in a hammock’. Put a bag down, went into the Bush Telegraph, had a chat, came back. I think she stayed till the food arrived. And then she disappeared.”
He said that it took a bit of time for the campmates to realise she wasn’t there but didn’t think it was particularly strange.
“I knew they were just keeping an eye on her because we’d spent a bit of time together beforehand, and when I say a bit of time, 24 hours,” Chris revealed. “And then she just never reappeared and we’re like ‘we guess she’s gone’. But we were like ‘well, she was in great mood.
“It’s not like she’s gone I can’t do this with these idiots and left’. But from what I believe she’s okay. She’s all good. And we didn’t even get a chance to swap numbers with her because we didn’t have our phones,” he added.
On the Ding Dollar Challenges, Chris said: “We were so bad at winning the treats in the Dingo Dollar deals on wheels challenges that Scarlette and I did a challenge, and they didn’t even show it. That’s how bad we were!”
He also revealed there was a little canopy that just covers the camp area but it’s not there all the time. “Just from one bed to the phone box and out like that, but if the rain comes in sideways and you’re in the hammock you screwed. But I’m like I want this from my back garden,” he joked.
The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X is back from Monday 5 December, 6:30am – 10am.
