Strictly’s Vito reveals strange rituals on Hits Radio Breakfast

Fleur East’s Strictly partner Vito Coppola was on Hits Radio Breakfast this morning where he admitted to having some odd rituals and superstitions.

The Italian, a former winner of his home country’s version of Strictly Come Dancing, Ballando con le Stelle, also revealed he’s currently single because he likes his freedom and which pro dancer he’s closest to.

“Everybody has been really nice to me and of course I already knew the Italian pro dancers, so I’ve spent a couple of evenings at the theatre with Giovanni,” he said.

When asked whether preferred Craig or Anton, Vito said that he’s only just met them, so it’s difficult to choose, but he did say that because Craig gave better feedback last week, at the moment it’s him!

As for his rituals and superstitions, he revealed that he likes odd numbers. If that sounds a bit… odd, he also admitted: “I usually chew when I eat 33 times – each bite. I like to chew 33 times and after I divide the food in my mouth on the right side and on the left. It’s a kind of tongue play you know!”

Now there’s something to think about when you watch him dancing with Fleur on Saturday!
