BBC Radio 1, Radio 1 Dance and BBC Sounds will broadcast Calvin Harris’ homecoming concert live from Glasgow.
The performance will also air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer as part of the BBC’s Summer of Music 2026.
Calvin Harris: Live from Scotland, produced by BBC Studios Music Productions in partnership with Sony Music Vision, will bring the DJ and producer’s headline show from Hampden Park to audiences across the UK on Saturday 1 August.
The career spanning performance promises to feature many of Calvin Harris’ biggest hits alongside spectacular production, celebrating the Scottish star’s return to one of the country’s largest stadiums.
Ahead of the main event, BBC iPlayer will also stream an evening of dance music from 6.30pm, including highlights from Radio 1 in Ibiza the previous night.
BBC Music has supported Calvin Harris throughout his career, from his early performances at Radio 1 in Ibiza to seven appearances at Radio 1’s Big Weekend, including Glasgow in 2014 and his headline performance in Coventry in 2022.
Calvin said: “Coming back to Scotland to headline two dates at Hampden Park is a huge moment for me. I’m excited to play live in front of a home crowd and amazing to be partnering with the BBC and Sony Music Vision on the Saturday show.”
Jonathan Rothery, Head of BBC Popular Music TV, said: “Bringing audiences unforgettable live music experiences from the world’s biggest artists is at the heart of what we do, and there are few artists who have shaped contemporary dance music quite like Calvin Harris.”
Tom Mackay, President of Sony Music Vision, added: “Calvin Harris is one of the defining artists of dance music, and this performance captures a truly special moment in his career.”
