Take That join Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard line-up
Take That have officially joined the line-up for Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard 2026, adding another major name to this year’s Wembley Stadium event.
The announcement was made this morning on Capital Breakfast by Jordan North, Chris Stark and Siân Welby, as anticipation continues to build for the UK’s biggest summer party on Saturday 6 June.
The eight-time BRIT Award-winning group will perform alongside an already packed bill featuring RAYE, Niall Horan, Calvin Harris, Fatboy Slim, Lola Young, Jason Derulo and Robyn, with 80,000 fans expected to attend the annual music event at Wembley Stadium.
Take That are set to bring some of their biggest hits to the stage, including Rule The World, Shine, Patience and Greatest Day, as they continue a busy year ahead of their upcoming 17-date stadium tour.
The addition of the group adds another major crowd-pleasing act to a line-up that mixes established chart favourites with newer breakout artists including Sienna Spiro, Sekou, MEEK and XG.
Capital Breakfast presenters Jordan North, Chris Stark and Siân Welby shared the news live on air, telling listeners they were excited to reveal another surprise addition for fans ahead of the event.
They said: “We love giving our Capital fans even more amazing artists to get excited about, so we’re thrilled to announce Take That are joining the line-up. We’re absolutely buzzing for this year’s Ball.”
Fans attending can also expect the return of the Barclaycard Out of the Blue performance, which has become one of the event’s regular surprise moments.
Capital’s Summertime Ball remains one of the biggest dates in the UK music calendar, bringing together international stars, live performances and thousands of listeners for a full day of music at Wembley.
Tickets for the event are available through Global Player, with organisers continuing to warn fans against purchasing tickets through unauthorised resale websites.
