Ellie Taylor to make her presenting debut on BBC Radio 2

Actor, comedian, writer and presenter Ellie Taylor will be debuting on BBC Radio 2 next week, when she sits in for Sara Cox.

This won’t be the first time she has hosted programmes on the radio, having previously presented on BBC Radio 4 and Heart.

Ellie is known for playing Sassy in Ted Lasso, is the co-host of Bake Off: The Professionals, and has taken part in Celebrity Gladiators and Strictly Come Dancing. She’s also written a best-selling book, My Child and Other Mistakes.

She’ll be sitting in for Sara Cox on Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 April, presenting the early evening show, 4pm – 7pm, including the Half Wower from 6.30pm.

Ellie says: “It’s a real pinch-me moment to say that I’ll be presenting shows on my favourite radio station, broadcasting to millions of listeners whilst playing some of the best music in the world.

“I cannot wait to get behind that iconic Radio 2 microphone and overshare with the nation.”
