Jordan North addresses Strictly Come Dancing rumours

This morning on Capital Breakfast, Jordan North responded to rumours that he’ll be on the line-up for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Jordan told co-hosts Chris Stark and Kemi Rodgers that he isn’t doing it because he can’t dance but doesn’t think anyone believes him.

The conversation began when Kemi asked him about the rumour doing the rounds on TikTok and asked him directly: “Are you doing Strictly Come Dancing?”

Jordan responded that he’d heard about it and that a few people had been asking. Chris said that his mum had messaged saying she’s heard “J” was doing it but wondered who that was. He said, probably Jordan but would ask. Chris added that his mum also said the other rumour was that Roman (Kemp) was doing it.

“Oh I’d put money on Roman doing it actually,” Jordan responded and Chris replied that he was also rumoured to be doing Big Brother.

Jordan said: “There’s a lot of rumours for these ones, before I started on Capital, a lot of people saying I was going to do. Big Brother. I can’t confirm or deny.

“If I say to you right now “I’m not doing it” you’ll like “ohhhh you’re definitely doing it aren’t you!”

He then added: “If I was on Strictly, I would constantly look like I was constipated, it would be awful. And I’d be like, 1…2…3…4.

“I can’t dance. I’m honestly not doing it, but no one will believe me anyway. I can’t dance for toffee, I have no rhythm, the only dance I can dance to, confidently, is a Cha-Cha-Slide. Because they tell you what to do. One hop this time…left right food stomp, right foot left stomp!”

No confirmation or denial, it sounds like a case of watch this space!
