Absolute Radio to host intimate James gig at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire
Legendary Manchester band James will perform an intimate gig at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire hosted by Absolute Radio.
The up close and personal event, which takes place on Monday 30 October, is a special performance for Absolute Radio’s 15th birthday. Station presenters Dave Berry and Danielle Perry will host and the whole event will be recorded and broadcast as part of Danielle’s Live Music Thursday show on 9 November.
James said: “We are very pleased to announce that we will be joining our friends at Absolute Radio for their 15th birthday celebrations and delighted that we’ve been asked to play. They have been very supportive to us during their first 15 years of existence, so we wanted to say thank you.”
Absolute Radio’s Content Director, Paul Sylvester added: “We’re delighted to be able to announce yet another incredible band as the centrepiece of Absolute Radio’s 15th birthday celebrations.
“James are one of British music’s most enduring success stories, selling over 25million albums, and we know this gig is going to be a huge live music moment for Absolute Radio listeners.”
Tickets for the gig go on sale this Thursday, 7 September at 9am on the Absolute Radio website.
