BBC Radio 2 launches listener vote for Ultimate Eurovision Superstar
Listeners to BBC Radio 2 are being invited to choose their Ultimate Eurovision Superstar as the Eurovision Song Contest marks its 70th anniversary this year.
The vote was launched today on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show, with Scott encouraging listeners to pick their favourite act from a shortlist celebrating seven decades of the contest.
The list features 70 artists, reflecting each year of Eurovision history, and includes performers who have gone on to global success as well as those remembered for standout moments on the Eurovision stage.

Voting closes at 9.30am on 31 March, with the results revealed during a special Eurovision Super Saturday programme on 16 May, hosted by Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
The show will air from 1pm to 3pm and will be available exclusively on BBC Sounds from 27 April, forming the centrepiece of Radio 2’s Eurovision celebrations.
