Capital unveils Capital Buzz Artist of the Month spotlighting new talent

Capital and its Gen-Z pop culture brand, Capital Buzz, have announced the Capital Buzz Artist of the Month, which champions emerging talent in music.

Building on the success of Capital Buzz’s dedicated performance slot at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard in December last year, the initiative sees one breakthrough artist championed each month with full support on-air, online and outdoor platforms.

The Jingle Bell Ball saw Capital Buzz Artists Alessi Rose and Rose Gray making their debuts on the iconic stage at The O2 in London.

Their appearances highlighted the fast-growing momentum behind both artists and demonstrated the scale of exposure Capital Buzz can offer to acts at a crucial stage in their careers.

Capital says the new Artist of the Month initiative is designed to build on that momentum, offering sustained support rather than one-off moments, and using the full reach of Global’s radio, digital and outdoor network.

Today, singer-songwriter Audrey Hobert has been announced as January’s Capital Buzz Artist and One to Watch.

The American artist first gained attention with her debut single Sue Me, which quickly built traction online, before she released her debut album Who’s the Clown? in August last year.

She is now preparing for a busy year ahead, with plans for a UK, Australian and New Zealand tour, alongside continued releases aimed at building her growing international fanbase.
