Lorraine Kelly to make her debut presenting on BBC Radio 2

As festive season on BBC Radio 2 kicks off on Monday 22 December, Lorraine Kelly makes her debut on the station by sitting in for Jeremy Vine for a few days.

Although the TV presenter has previously appeared on the station back in 2020 when she featured in Tracks of My Years on the Ken Bruce Show, this will be her first time presenting a programme.

As Jeremy takes a break from Monday 22 until Wednesday 24 December, Lorraine will host the show by taking over the hot seat where she’ll be covering the news stories of the day.

Lorraine says: “I’m absolutely chuffed to be stepping in for Jeremy Vine over Christmas! It’s such a joyful, feel-good time of year, and I can’t wait to spend the afternoons with Radio 2 listeners.

“We’ll have loads of festive fun, great chats and plenty of laughs. Radio 2 listeners are in for a real treat; it’s going to be a Christmas cracker!”
