Ed Sheeran and RAYE lead huge Capital Jingle Bell Ball line-up

Capital has announced the first wave of stars for night one of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard, taking place at The O2 in London on 6 December.

Ed Sheeran, RAYE, Anne-Marie and Leigh-Anne headline the UK’s biggest Christmas party, joined by Rizzle Kicks, Mimi Webb, Moliy, Sonny Fodera and Alessi Rose.

The line-up was revealed this morning on Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Siân Welby, who teased an additional surprise performance from Barclaycard’s Out of the Blue.

Jordan said: “It’s official… Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard is back and this line-up is huge! The O2 is going to absolutely go off, and we’ve only announced night one!”

Ed Sheeran returns to Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball following the release of his eighth album Play, featuring the Number One single Azizam. With over 200 million records sold worldwide, his performance is expected to be one of the highlights of the weekend.

Eight-time BRIT Award-winner RAYE joins the line-up, performing hits including WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!?, and in a world exclusive, will appear on stage with her sisters Absolutely and Amma.

Anne-Marie will bring her biggest hits and new single DEPRESSED to The O2, while Leigh-Anne is set to perform tracks from her upcoming debut album My Ego Told Me To, due next month.

Also performing are Rizzle Kicks, back for their first Jingle Bell Ball appearance since 2013, alongside Mimi Webb, Ghanaian-American artist Moliy, and international DJ Sonny Fodera.

Rising star Alessi Rose appears as Capital’s first-ever Buzz Artist, representing new talent championed by the station.
