Cat Burns joined Scott Mills on BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show this morning to talk about her whirlwind experience on Celebrity Traitors.
She also spoke about her hilarious co-star Alan Carr, and the nerves that come with watching herself on TV.
The BRIT-nominated singer said she’s “really glad” she took part in the hit BBC One show, describing it as “such a crazy experience” that none of the contestants were fully prepared for.
Laughing with Scott and co-hosts Tina and Ellie, Cat joked about Alan Carr’s new Christmas single, saying with a grin, “I’m going to go with no,” when asked if she’d consider a duet.
Cat also revealed her unusual viewing ritual for Celebrity Traitors, admitting, “I usually watch through one eye covered with the volume really low.”
She added that even though she hasn’t seen episodes before they air, the final edit “comes across how I thought it would.”
The singer shared how one fan recently asked her to sign a vinyl with the phrase “someone has been recruited,” a nod to one of the show’s most quoted lines.
As Scott teased her about tonight’s finale, Cat laughed off questions about the result, saying she’s asked “all the time” but can’t give anything away.
Alongside her TV success, Cat discussed her new music and upcoming tour, marking what looks to be another exciting chapter in her career.
