Reese Witherspoon joins Westlife and La Voix on BBC Radio 2
It was a star-packed Big Guest Friday on BBC Radio 2 this morning when Scott Mills welcomed Reese Witherspoon, Westlife and Strictly Come Dancing star La Voix.
Reese teased Scott after he confessed to getting a Legally Blonde question wrong during The Weakest Link.
When Romesh Ranganathan asked which colour Elle Woods famously wears, Scott answered “green.” Reese, shocked, exclaimed, “What? Are you okay?” as Westlife joked that his “gay card” should be revoked.
The trio also chatted about Strictly’s Icons Week, with La Voix revealing she’ll be performing as Cher. When asked which icon she would be on Dancing with the Stars, Reese said: “I would do Dolly Parton or Stevie Nicks.”
Reese joked about La Voix starring as the “Bond Girl” in her next crime thriller, to which La Voix replied: “Yes, I’d love that… but I can’t come out of the ocean in a bikini like Halle Berry!”
Westlife discussed working with Ed Sheeran and their upcoming UK tour. Reese reacted with nostalgia when Scott played their 90s hit Flying Without Wings, calling it “major” and “huge.”
The group shared how the song wasn’t a US hit because “America was done with boybands” at the time – something Reese called “so rude.”
