Grime Gran interviews Chris Hemsworth on Capital Breakfast show
This morning on Capital Breakfast, internet personality Grime Gran sat down with Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth for a chat about his new series Limitless: Live Better Now.
The conversation quickly turned to Hemsworth’s surprise appearance as a drummer for Ed Sheeran, a moment that first happened during Sheeran’s tour stops in Romania and Switzerland.
Hemsworth admitted the experience was “terrifying,” saying: “I’ve never played the drums before or any instrument really.
“A little bit of guitar but never the drums. And seventy-thousand people all cheering along at their favourite song and here I am potentially going to wreck it.”
Grime Gran praised his performance and joked that Sheeran would probably invite him back, to which Hemsworth revealed: “He did! He is doing a tour in Australia at some point, and he said, ‘come and play again.’ But I don’t know if I want to put myself through that anymore, that was intense.”
The interview was filled with trademark Grime Gran humour, including a cheeky moment when she quipped: “And you’re Thor, aren’t you? God of Thunder. You can thunder on me if you like Chris,” leaving Hemsworth laughing.
She also extended a warm London welcome: “Next time you’re in London, Chris, come to my house and have a nice cup of tea with me!”
Limitless: Live Better Now sees Hemsworth exploring ways to live a healthier, more fulfilling life, and the Capital Breakfast interview offered a light-hearted promotional moment that also revealed more personal anecdotes from the star.
With the Australian actor possibly set for another turn on stage with Ed Sheeran, fans may yet see “Thor” back behind the drum kit!
