Mark Ronson says Suzanne with Raye is his best ever song

Mark Ronson has revealed his new track with Raye is his favourite song he has ever made.
The superstar producer joined Will Manning on the EE Official Big Top 40 yesterday to blind rank five of his biggest hits, including ‘Uptown Funk’ and ‘Valerie’.
Mark surprised listeners by putting his new single ‘Suzanne’ with Raye at number one, ahead of the massive Bruno Mars collaboration and his version of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Valerie’.
Speaking to Will after hearing the track, Mark said simply: “Number one.”
When Will asked him about it, Mark explained: “Because I’m changing the criteria each song, so now in this case, I was like, ‘which is one to five in chronological order of the newest? So that’s Suzanne.’”
Despite joking about his method, he confirmed it was genuinely his favourite track ever, telling Will: “It’s my favourite song I’ve ever made. Ever made. Ever.”
His final ranking put ‘Ooh Wee’ in fifth place, ‘Electricity’ in fourth, ‘Valerie’ third, and ‘Uptown Funk’ as his second favourite.
Will teased him for looking unsure about the order, saying: “You wanted to move it around though; I can tell in your face… It’s done, it’s written!”
Mark responded: “It’s in, it’s in the books. It’s all I can do.”
‘Suzanne’ with Raye was released this month and features on his upcoming projects. Raye won BRIT Album of the Year earlier in 2025 and has been collaborating widely ever since.
