Capital Breakfast host Sian Welby announces she’s pregnant!
This morning Capital Breakfast co-host Sian Welby announced live on-air that she is going to be a mum.
She shared the exciting news live this morning with her Capital Breakfast co-hosts Roman Kemp and Chris Stark, and with Capital listeners revealing that she is thrilled to be expecting a baby later this Summer.
Sian said: “I’ve got a bit of an announcement for you! I’m pregnant! I don’t know how I’ve managed to keep it from you for so long.
“The lies, the deceit, the mocktails! I couldn’t wait to tell you. This is a whole new journey for me and I want to take you all on it with me, and don’t worry I’m not going anywhere! This is going to be a lot of fun and I can’t wait to share it with you all.”
Reacting to the news, Sian’s co-hosts Roman Kemp said “Oh my god! Oh mate I’m so happy for you and Jake as well!” and Chris Stark said: “Is this real? It is the most exciting news ever!”
Sian was inundated with texts and calls from listeners congratulating her on the news. She’ll take a break during the Summer but will return to the new Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby later in the year.
