Scott Mills welcomes 105 year old raver Hilda to Radio 2 Breakfast

This morning on his BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, Scott Mills welcomed Hilda Jackson to the show to take part in The Birthday Game.
Hilda is 105 years old today and recently made headlines when she asked her care home to organise a rave to celebrate her birthday!
During her chat with Scott, he asked what was her secret to reaching such an amazing age, having a rave on her birthday, her love of tennis, and her musical taste.
When Scott asked how she’d be celebrating her birthday, Hilda told him a bit of dancing, a bit of raving and she hopes there are glowsticks!
As for the secret to living to the age of 105, Hilda said: “I don’t really know. I’m going to be truthful with you. I haven’t got a secret at all. I just keep on and on while I can and take the day today as it comes.”
When playing The Birthday Game, Hilda wasn’t sure about the first song choice of a No. 1 on the same date as her birthday – Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes) by Edison Lighthouse. Her next option was 2 Unlimited’s 1993 dance classic No Limit and she admitted: “I rather like that!”
