Ellie Taylor is returning to BBC Radio 2 this autumn to cover Emma Willis’s Saturday lunchtime show while she takes part in Strictly Come Dancing.
Ellie will make her first appearance in the 1pm to 3pm slot next Saturday, 26 September, bringing her own style to the programme while Emma heads to the Strictly ballroom.
Ellie said: “I cannot wait to be back at Radio 2 and am thrilled to be looking after Emma’s Saturday show while she waltzes off to Strictly.”
She added that listeners can expect “plenty of great tunes, guests and surprises from me”, alongside what she described as “a lot of fun”.
The comedian and presenter has previously appeared on Radio 2 and says she is looking forward to being back with the station’s listeners throughout Emma’s Strictly stint.

She added: “Her warmth and laughter will be a great addition to our superstar Saturday line up, whilst Emma sashays over to the Strictly ballroom.”
Emma presented her last Saturday lunchtime programme of this year at the weekend, with Strictly judge Anton du Beke joining her as a special guest ahead of the new series.
The programme marks a temporary change to the Saturday schedule as Emma balances her Radio 2 role with her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.
Ellie will also have her own connection to the BBC One ballroom show, as she takes on a new presenting role on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.
She will make her debut on the BBC Two programme on Monday 28 September, bringing viewers more access and insight into the world of Strictly.
Her autumn schedule will therefore see Ellie appearing across both Radio 2 and Strictly Come Dancing, with her Saturday lunchtime programme continuing through the autumn and winter.
