Myleene Klass celebrates I’m a Celebrity Legend win at Smooth Radio
Myleene Klass celebrated being the first I’m A Celebrity Legend when she arrived to host her Saturday afternoon show on Smooth Radio.
The broadcaster took the crown after beating Diversity dancer and broadcaster Jordan Banjo in the final of I’m a Celebrity… South Africa on ITV last night.
The Smooth Radio and KISS DJs went head-to-head in the final where they faced their last gruesome trial.
Describing how she managed to get through the trial, she told hosts Ant and Dec: “I just focused on my children – I miss them so much. I thought, if I’m going away, I have to make it worthwhile.”
This afternoon was Myleene’s first Smooth Radio show since winning the title. Entering the station, she was given the Red Carpet treatment in a specially created jungle scene with a big congratulations billboard and cake – of course, which she tucked into with her fellow Smooth Radio presenter Kirsty Gallacher.
Myleene said earlier: “The jungle reaction has just been incredible. Everybody seems to really have enjoyed the jungle in general, but the last trial in particular seems to have ignited something. Maybe a bit of disbelief!
“People have been hugely supportive and I’m enjoying all the memes that I’ve been seeing. It’s quite an interesting day to be back at work at Smooth Radio.
“We had a party at my house last night and we will definitely be starting my show with Toto’s Africa, just to take me back to that very exciting moment of getting the crown. But I think the excitement might have got to all of us last night as we celebrated together!”
