Dean Martin takes listener down the the aisle

Nation Radio London presenter Dean Martin has played an extra special request for one particular listener.

The former Gold host was asked by a fan to attend her wedding in Manchester and walk her down the aisle.

Heather Stevens married Ian Ginnever on November 10th 2018, after meeting at various music events hosted by Dean. Heather was a regular listener when he was on Gold and now listens to his evening shows on Nation Radio.

Dean told RadioToday: “Heather asked me a few months ago if I would come to Manchester and walk her down the aisle, of course I accepted.

“What an honour to be asked, as in my opinion, that it what radio is about, connecting to the listener.”
