Amanda Holden returned to Heart Breakfast after the summer holidays by sharing a hilarious story about retrieving moisturiser from behind a hotel unit.
Speaking to co-host JK, Amanda explained that she had been applying moisturiser when it accidentally went down the back of a unit in their hotel room.
Amanda said she had to straddle a chest of drawers and squeeze around the back of it to retrieve the missing moisturiser, despite the furniture being extremely heavy.
When JK asked whether she was naked, Amanda confirmed: “I was totally naked and then I had to reverse out because it was only a small gap I’d pulled because it was so heavy.”
The situation became even more amusing when Amanda revealed that her husband Chris was on the bed using his phone rather than helping her with the problem.
Amanda said her husband then told her he had filmed the entire incident, meaning her attempt to recover the moisturiser had been captured on video.
After telling the story on air, the video was played for listeners, giving JK the chance to react to what had happened during Amanda’s hotel mishap.
Amanda also confirmed that despite the awkward circumstances, she did eventually manage to retrieve the moisturiser, adding: “I did retrieve the moisturiser you’ll be pleased to know.”
JK responded to the footage with a comment about Amanda’s husband: “Nice to see Chris is still playing the annoying husband!”
