Chris Moyles celebrates birthday with nineties takeover live on Radio X

Chris Moyles marked his birthday with a special live edition of his Radio X show this morning, broadcasting from Bunga 90 in Covent Garden for a full-scale nineties themed celebration.

The programme, Back to the 90s, transformed the central London venue into a nostalgia filled live studio, complete with surprise guests, live performances and tributes from some of the decade’s biggest music stars.

Britpop favourites Ocean Colour Scene surprised Chris during the show, with frontman Simon Fowler and guitarist Steve Cradock performing an exclusive acoustic set featuring hits The Riverboat Song and The Day We Caught The Train.
