Ken Bruce wants to broadcast his Radio 2 show from your workplace!
Ken Bruce is taking his Radio 2 show on the road this summer to broadcast live from workplaces who’ll play his pop quiz PopMaster.
He’s looking for four workplaces in Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales to broadcast his whole show live between 9.30am – 12pm over four days, starting on Monday 29 July in Northern Ireland.
The workplace will ‘Stop For PopMaster’ between 10.30am – 10.45am with two callers taking part and workers watching.
Whether you put Ken next to a desk, at the end of a supermarket till or in a warehouse, your team must stop for PopMaster!
You can nominate your workplace whether it’s an office, shop, factory or showroom, and Ken could be there and may even bring along some famous friends from the world of music and entertainment.
Ken says: “I’m only allowed out of Wogan House for my yearly pilgrimage to Eurovision, so when it was suggested I take PopMaster around the UK to find out if people really do stop for PopMaster, I jumped at the chance to free myself from the London shackles and escape!”
PopMaster is hugely popular daily pop quiz where two listeners each answer questions about pop music from the past six decades.
The player with the highest score wins a portable Bluetooth speaker and goes through to the ‘Three in Ten’ final, where they have to name three top 75 UK hits from a particular artist and upgrade their prize to a digital radio. The runner-up wins a ‘One Year Out’ T-shirt.
Does your workplace stop EVERYTHING for #PopMaster at 10.30?
