Zoe Ball, Sara Cox and Ken Bruce dress up as Radio 2 Celebrates Musicals!

BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball, Sara Cox and Ken Bruce have been dressing up as characters from musicals ahead of Radio 2 Celebrates Musicals this weekend.

The celebration kicks off tomorrow, when the station will only be playing songs from musical theatre, stage and screen all day from 5am-7pm.

During the Breakfast Show, Zoe will be leading a sing-a-long of three songs from musicals and wants listeners to get dressed up as their favourite character from a musical.

Across the weekend there will be a musicals theme including special guests. The celebrations will culminate with a special programme – Musicals: The Greatest Show presented by Sheridan Smith on Sunday evening, 7pm-9pm.

It will include performances from performances from Sheridan, a duet with Amanda Holden, Nicole Scherzinger, Josh Groban, Elaine Paige, Michael Ball, Kerry Ellis, Ramin Karimloo, Jac Yarrow and many more West End and Broadway stars. The programme will also be shown on BBC One next Sunday, 7 February at 7.40pm.
