Anastacia opens up on Heart about cancer journey and Crohn’s disease
Anastacia has given a health update while discussing surviving two cancers and living with Crohn’s disease on Heart Breakfast.
Speaking with Jamie Theakston and Zoe Hardman, who was standing in for Amanda Holden, the singer discussed her upcoming tour and reflected on her long health journey.
Jamie praised Anastacia’s resilience and said she continues to inspire listeners, noting her openness about her health journey and the impact she has had on audiences facing similar challenges.
“I’ve had two cancers, thank you. I’m very proud of both because that means I got to spread more information about early detection. Cancer is not as scary as it used to be because of advances,” Anastacia said.
Zoe asked whether she is well now and Anastacia confirmed she is feeling well while acknowledging she continues to live with Crohn’s disease.
“I’m really well now. My cancer is great. My Crohn’s is still there, but that is just life and will always be there,” she revealed.
The singer also had her dog Broady with her, took over the Heart Breakfast studio:
