Ashton Kutcher relives viral radio moment on Capital Breakfast

Ashton Kutcher and Anthony Ramos caused laughter and nostalgia on Capital Breakfast this morning.

The Hollywood stars joined Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby, with the conversation quickly turning into a full circle moment that traced back more than a decade of radio history and one viral interview that helped launch Chris Stark’s career.

Chris finally fulfilled a promise made thirteen years ago during his now famous interview with Mila Kunis, where a nervous young reporter flirted over football, Watford FC and Nando’s, unaware the exchange would rack up millions of views online.

Speaking to Ashton, Chris explained how the interview changed his life, saying it was the reason he still has a job, met his wife and started a family, as Jordan North reminded listeners just how widely the clip spread at the time.

The original audio was played on air, featuring Mila joking about Watford’s bright yellow kit, asking for a shirt and laughing along as Chris attempted to invite her to a match and a pre-game chicken dinner.

This morning, Chris finally made good on that offer, presenting Ashton with a Watford shirt for Mila, alongside another for him, joking about the name on the back and roping Anthony Ramos into the moment with a club scarf.

Jordan described it as a genuine full circle moment, while Ashton promised he would pass on Chris’s thanks to his wife, acknowledging just how meaningful the interview had been for the presenter.

The conversation then shifted to another celebrity story, as Chris asked Ashton about a rumoured encounter with Harry Styles that took place at an Adele hosted karaoke birthday party.

Ashton confirmed the story was completely true, explaining that he and Mila lived next door to Adele and were invited to a karaoke night at her house, where he was fully prepared to sing until Adele herself took the microphone.

He recalled watching another guest, dressed in an Elvis style outfit, deliver an impressive performance, turning to Mila to comment that Adele had invited professional level karaoke singers to the party.

Only afterwards did Ashton discover the mystery performer was Harry Styles, admitting his embarrassment grew when he later complimented him without realising he was speaking to one of the world’s biggest pop stars!
